1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on our website. If you are under 18, you may only place an order with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Prices and Payment

All prices on our website are displayed in the local currency selected by you and include applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax) where required by law. For orders shipped within the EU, prices include VAT. For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties and local taxes may apply upon import; these are the responsibility of the customer.

The total price for your order, including any shipping costs, taxes, and fees, is displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.

2.1 Payment Methods

We offer the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Union Pay)
Payment is charged at the time of purchase. We use 3D Secure for secure card payments, which means you may need to verify the payment with your bank (e.g., via SMS code or app verification).

Klarna (Invoice, Instalments, and Direct Payment)
Through Klarna, you can pay by invoice, instalments, or direct bank payment. Klarna's own terms apply to each payment option. A credit check may be performed for invoice and instalment payments. For full details on interest rates, fees, and terms, please visit: https://www.klarna.com/international/terms-and-conditions/

Swish
Instant payment via the Swish app (available for customers with a Swedish bank account). Payment is deducted immediately.

Trustly
Direct bank payment via your online bank. Payment is processed immediately. Trustly's terms apply: https://www.trustly.net/terms-and-conditions

Apple Pay and Google Pay
Payment is charged at the time of purchase through your digital wallet.

iDEAL and Bancontact
Direct bank payment available for customers in the Netherlands (iDEAL) and Belgium (Bancontact). Payment is processed immediately.

Restrictions: Certain payment methods may be limited depending on order value, country, or other conditions set by the respective payment provider. Any restrictions are displayed at checkout.

2.2 3D Secure

Our website uses 3D Secure for card payments via Shopify Payments. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring you to verify your purchase with your card-issuing bank.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

A binding agreement between you and us is formed when we confirm your order by sending an order confirmation to the email address you provided at checkout. The order confirmation includes details of the products ordered, the total price, and delivery information.

We reserve the right to decline an order in the case of obvious pricing or typographical errors that you knew or should have known about. In such cases, you will be notified and no charge will be made.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. You can correct any input errors (e.g., quantity, address, or contact details) before payment is processed by navigating back in the checkout.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Methods

We ship all orders via PostNord. Depending on the destination country, delivery may be to your mailbox, a parcel locker, a service point (pickup location), or your door.

If your parcel is delivered to a service point, you will receive a notification (via SMS or email) when it is available for collection. You typically have 14 days to collect the parcel. If the parcel is not collected within this period, it will be returned to us. In such cases, the product price will be refunded, but we reserve the right to deduct the original shipping cost. If you wish the item to be re-shipped, an additional shipping fee will apply.

4.2 Delivery Times

Orders placed and confirmed on business days before 1:00 PM (CET) are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM or on weekends/holidays are dispatched the next business day.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Sweden: 1–3 business days
  • EU countries: 3–8 business days
  • United Kingdom: 5–10 business days
  • United States and Canada: 7–14 business days
  • Rest of world: 7–21 business days

Please note that these are estimated delivery times. Actual delivery times may vary depending on customs processing and local postal services. For EU customers, these delivery times constitute a binding commitment; see section 4.4 below regarding delays.

4.3 Shipping Costs

Current shipping costs are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Any free shipping promotions are indicated on the website.

4.4 Delivery Delays

If a delivery delay occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible via email, including the reason for the delay (if known) and an estimated new delivery date.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

  • Wait for the delivery.
  • Cancel the order if the delay is of significant importance to you, or if we fail to deliver within a reasonable additional period that you have given us.
  • Claim compensation where applicable under consumer protection law.

4.5 Customs and Import Duties

Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs authority for further information.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU and UK Customers)

This section applies to consumers located in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

5.1 Your Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a person you have nominated, other than the carrier) physically receives the goods. If your order contains multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period runs from the day you receive the last item.

5.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. You may contact us by any of the following means:

  • Email: info@ancienttherapy.com
  • Phone: +46 70 142 63 55
  • Post: Ancient Therapy Scandinavia AB, C/o Nibiru Software, Söder Mälarstrand 29, 114 57 Stockholm, Sweden

Using the form is not mandatory – you may contact us in any way described above.

5.3 Return Deadline and Return Address

If you withdraw from your purchase, you must send back the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicated your withdrawal to us.

Return address:
Ancient Therapy Scandinavia AB
C/o Nibiru Software
Söder Mälarstrand 29
114 57 Stockholm, Sweden

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless otherwise communicated.

5.4 Conditions for Withdrawal

The goods must be returned in substantially the same condition as when you received them, including original packaging, instructions, and any accessories. You may examine the goods in the same way as you would in a physical store, but if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function, you may be liable for any diminished value.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery.

5.5 Refund upon Withdrawal

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original delivery cost (but not any supplementary costs if you chose a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we received your withdrawal notice.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that you have sent back the goods (e.g., a shipping receipt), whichever comes first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

5.6 Returns for US and Canadian Customers

This section applies to customers located in the United States and Canada.

While the statutory EU/UK right of withdrawal does not apply to you, we offer a voluntary 14-day return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unopened and unused products within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund of the product price.

To initiate a return, contact us at info@ancienttherapy.com. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Products that have been opened, used, or have broken hygiene seals cannot be returned.

6. Warranty and Defective Goods

6.1 EU Customers – Legal Guarantee

Under EU consumer protection law, you have a legal guarantee of conformity for goods. This means you have the right to a remedy if the goods are defective (i.e., they do not conform to the contract, deviate from the product description, or cannot be used for their normal purpose).

6.2 Timeframes for Claims (EU)

You must notify us of a defect within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered it. A complaint made within two (2) months of discovering the defect is always considered timely.

We are responsible for defects that existed at the time of delivery and that become apparent within three (3) years from the date you received the goods. A claim is time-barred if it is not made within two (2) months after the end of this three-year period. This means that if you discover a defect just before the three-year period expires, you have an additional two months to file a complaint.

6.3 Remedies

If the goods are defective, you are entitled to request:

  • Repair: that the defect is rectified.
  • Replacement: that you receive a new, non-defective product.
  • Price reduction: a reduction of the price corresponding to the defect.
  • Rescission: cancellation of the purchase, if the defect is significant.
  • Compensation: damages for any loss suffered as a result of the defect.

We will first offer repair or replacement. If that is not possible or not completed within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or rescission.

6.4 UK Customers

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After 30 days and up to 6 months, we are entitled to attempt one repair or replacement before you can claim a refund. After 6 months and up to 6 years, you may still claim a remedy, but you may need to prove the fault was present at the time of delivery.

6.5 US and Canadian Customers

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@ancienttherapy.com. We will offer a replacement or full refund at our discretion. Any applicable implied warranties are not excluded to the extent prohibited by law.

6.6 How to File a Complaint

Contact us to file a complaint:

  • Email: info@ancienttherapy.com
  • Phone: +46 70 142 63 55
  • Post: Ancient Therapy Scandinavia AB, C/o Nibiru Software Söder Mälarstrand 29, 114 57 Stockholm, Sweden

Please describe the defect and include photos if possible. We ask that you keep your order confirmation or other proof of purchase.

If you need to return the item, send it to:
Ancient Therapy Scandinavia AB
Söder Mälarstrand 29
114 57 Stockholm, Sweden

We will cover the return shipping cost for approved warranty claims.

7. Shipping Damage

If your goods arrive damaged (shipping damage), the same rights and procedures as described in section 6 above apply. As the seller, we are responsible for damage that occurs during transit to you. Please contact us as soon as possible if you discover shipping damage, preferably with photos of the damage and packaging.

8. Refunds for Warranty Claims

For approved warranty claims where you are entitled to a price reduction or rescission, refunds will be processed without undue delay. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed. In the case of rescission, we will refund the full purchase price including the original delivery cost.

9. Customer Service

We respond to customer enquiries within 48 hours on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Swedish public holidays). You can reach us via:

  • Email: info@ancienttherapy.com

10. Dispute Resolution

EU Customers
We always strive to resolve any disputes directly with you. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may refer the matter to the consumer dispute resolution body in your country. Swedish consumers can contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN): Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden – www.arn.se

You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

UK Customers
If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or refer the matter to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider.

US and Canadian Customers
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by Swedish law. However, if you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws of your state, province, or country of residence may also apply to the extent they provide greater protection.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, US, or Canada, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

12. Region-Specific Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (i) know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you; (ii) request deletion of your personal information; (iii) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell your personal information); and (iv) not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ancienttherapy.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
